A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.

Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside companies operate the search tools. Their privacy terms govern information entered into those boxes, including retention and disclosure practices that we do not control. Review the provider's policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Sac County government, Iowa Courts Online, state agencies, other public resources, or private services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's policy controls. Check it before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their systems, rather than ours, control that tracking.
